Awards Banquet and Installation Dinner: Held every January this annual event awards valued Chamber Members with recognition of relevance to the business community & community itself. A dignitary is chosen to be the evenings emcee and to award each honoree. Categories awarded are in different categories each year and the most prestigious is the Nick & Lorraine Gust Lifetime Achievement Award, honor of the late Nick Gust of Nick's Restaurant who was an integral part of Pacifica's history.
Taste of Pacifica: Held the first Saturday in June, this event is a real town favorite and always sells out. The Chamber gathers some of the top restaurants of Pacifica and each brings their signature delights for the attendees to sample while they sip on wine, participate in a silent auction and listen to live music. Bootlegger Golf Tournament: Held on a designated Monday of September this tournament not only helps the Chamber and Visitor Center it also helps preserve the Sharp Park Golf Course located along the Pacifica coast. Opened in 1931 and designed by famed architect Alister MacKenzie and landscaped by John McLaren, this beautiful 18 hole course offers fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding areas where foxes, squirrels may peek out to say hello. Participants enjoy lunch, dinner and awards throughout the day along with lots of fun.
The Chamber is excited to bring the first Oktoberfest to Pacifica! This event will be held the second Saturday of October. Come join the fun and enjoy authentic German food, beer, live Polka music, costumes and raffles. Come in German Lederhosen or any German costume and win a prize. Or, try our raffle and more!
Rockaway Beach Tree Lighting Ceremony:
Held on the first Sunday of December, this crowd pleaser brings guests in via a San Francisco Trolley car where the event is held steps away from the Pacific Ocean. Kids enjoy a visit with Santa, arts and crafts activities, pony rides and photos with the Nestle's Nesquik Bunny and Disney's characters, snow flurries and more. Guests will enjoy live music, student performances, climb aboard an antique fire truck, participate in Caroling or stop by a local merchants shop to snack on a goodie or two until the magic of the tree lighting takes place.
