What a great evening had by all. The Chamber, in partnership with the Pacifica Spindrift Players, held their first Mystery Dinner Theater at Nick's Restaurant on Sunday evening of Oct. 23rd. Attendees began their evening by giving themselves a stage name to engage with the cast of actors. As guests settled at their tables the cast of characters worked the room to introduce themselves. Then the theatrical charades began. The theme was set in the 30's where "Senator Rook" finds himself in a pickle with his wife Belladonna Rook, his mistress Dee Itsy the nightclub singer, Thomas Gun the nightclub owner, Patricia Dumbwaiter the nightclub waitress and the mysterious wanderer Cutrinka Stabivarius. Soon the Senator is stabbed and the guests were on their way to find the culprit along with Detective Officer and Officer Detective providing evidence bags and clues. Three birthdays were in the house and Dee Itsy led in song of Happy Birthday. Birthdays celebrated were for Bob Runne, Ruth Amber and 15 yr old Rebecca who was the only one to solve the mystery fully that evening. The evening ended with a standing ovation from the audience. The evening was such a success that another Dinner Mystery Theater is in the near future. Stay tuned. In the meantime view photos from this event on our Facebook page
