Crowds lined up well before the opening of the doors to the new Taco Bell Cantina in hopes of receiving a free beach towel. But TB Cantina was ready when those ran out, then the tacos came out for all to enjoy. They even had staff take piles of tacos out to the folks who had been waiting in line! Each person received a raffle ticket for a chance to win a mountain bike. As folks patiently waited in line they were treated to a selfie booth and received a take-home souvenir. Then when the doors opened everyone received the "purple" carpet treatment. At least 15 TBC executives were on hand to launch their favorite TBC. Amongst our local leaders were Mayor Sue Vaterlaus & Councilwoman Sue Beckmeyer who both had just came straight from Relay for Life to show their support and they had a great time. Chamber president Lisa Eccleston along with chamber board of directors Victor Spano, Lynn Gallo, Vicki Moore, Suzanne Johnson and Deborah Patterson were on hand to celebrate. We found the crowd largely consisted of folks that traveled from as far as Vallejo to partake in the festivities. What can we say? You need to go and visit for yourself, 5200 Coast Highway in Pacifica.
