The #Pacifica Chamber was happy to share the Coastside Farmers Market opening day on May 1st by conducting their official ribbon cutting ceremony and welcoming them to them as new Chamber members. It was a beautiful day as we watched Farmers Market coordinator, Erin Tormey, ring the official bell that tells the merchants to 'begin selling!'

The Chamber was honored to have the city's Economic Development Manager, Thomas Myers, in attendance to help officiate the ceremony.

The Farmers Market will run from May 1 through Dec. 18, every Wed. from 2:30pm - 6:30pm, along Old County Rd. in Rockaway. You'll find coastside farmers, ranchers, fishermen & culinary artisans selling produce, meats, seafood, baked goods, hot foods, flowers & more. This also provides local emerging businesses a platform to connect with the communities along the coast. Erin's ceritified market also serves the communities from Pescadero to Pacifica and is also part of the Market Match program who's mission is to inspire and build a sustainable, healthy future transforming the ideals of sustainability into everyday practice.
